On the Cummins 3.9, 5.9 & 8.3 engine platforms you will find your engine serial number ID plate in front of the injection pump. On disk style chippers it will be on the “fuel tank” side of the mounted engine. On drum style chippers it will be on the “back” side of the engine facing the chipper drum
